Beef Curry

  • 1/2 med Onion
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/3 Lb cubed beef
  • 2 tbsp hot curry paste
  • 1/2 cup diced canned tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup rice


  1. Chop onions into 1” cubes
  2. Chop cubed beef into1” pieces
  3. Saute onion in oil
  4. Add beef and cook until lightly browned
  5. Reduce heat to medium and stir in hot curry paste, stir until well mixed
  6. Add tomatoes and water, increase heat to high.
  7. When boiling reduce heat to medium and simmer uncovered, about 10-15 minutes until beef is fully cooked and sauce has thickened.
  8. While curry is cooking, cook rice according to directions (amount of water varies by type of rice)
  9. Serve curry over hot rice
